Our Approach

What is CBT?

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapeutic approach that explores the connection between your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and behaviors. By identifying the patterns that sustain your challenges, CBT aims to break the cycle that keeps the issue ongoing. The goal is to create lasting change by addressing the factors contributing to the maintenance of the problem.

CBT takes a holistic approach, helping you work through difficulties and implement meaningful change. A trained CBT therapist will use evidence-based techniques approved by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) to guide you in overcoming obstacles and improving well-being.

At CBT Berkshire, we are dedicated to providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for a range of mental health difficulties, including;

What can I expect?

We aim to create a safe and supportive environment where our clients can explore their thoughts and emotions, develop coping strategies, and work towards positive change in their lives.

First, we would start with the assessment session/s, to get a good understanding of your difficulties. We would then discuss a treatment plan, followed by treatment sessions. The final few sessions will look at relapse management and working on how to keep yourself well.

With CBT Berkshire, treatment is flexible, effective, and done at a pace that is comfortable for you. If you think CBT could be beneficial for you, please reach out, and we can discuss how it can support you in achieving your goals.
